This tour is recommended from May to September when most of the wild brown bears (Ursus arctos) are active. You’ll be seeing them in their natural environment, in the middle of Romania’s Carpathian virgin forests, from the safe distance of the observatories.
As they are wild animals is a possibility that you’ll need to “hunt” the bears for a while but from our experience the chance is almost guaranteed to see them up-close.
For this wild tour we strongly encourage to:
Tour usually starts at 5 PM but time may vary. We’ll take you from your accommodation in Brasov or any other point in proximity.
